So, here are the actual specs and features of the FX-4 combined with what we can tell you about the FX-5…let us know if this makes sense or if you have any questions!

Suspension, front: Marzocchi Monster T Downhill mountain bike forks, 40mm stanchions, 200mm / 8″ travel, upgraded with enduro-weight springs
Suspension, rear: Fox Racing Shox Float MXR mini-motocross air shock
Engine: 125cc 4-stroke (Honda-Jialing and Daytona-Japan options)
Transmission: 4 speed (automatic clutch and manual clutch options)
Carburetor: Mikuni
Ignition: CDI, NGK spark plug
Exhaust/muffler: USFS-approved with spark arrester
Tires, front and rear: Kenda 19″ motocross 70/100-19
Rims, front and rear: RK Takasago Excel motocross 19″ x 1.40″

FX originally saw the Mountain Moto as a defense product, but for a number of reasons we have decided to focus on the off-road and dual sport/recreation markets at first.
However, if “friendly” military and relief organizations are interested in our commercially produced models, we’re happy to talk, in defense language of course, using plenty of serious words like gradeability and TLAs (three letter acronyms)…starting with a new name…SLM.
